I've been a misfit since day 1-- happiest when I'm traipsing around the woods and fields or any other wild places, or just plain being outside. Nothing better than the joys of nature. Well, unless it's gardening. I love growing things, especially flowers, and my little yard here in New Harmony is crammed so full of spring wildflowers (you should see the Virginia bluebells, oh my), shrubs and trees, and summer-to-fall flowers that there's no room left for lawn lol.

Someone asked me the other day, "What significant others do you share your home with?"

That made me laugh, because my son and his partner are out in Tacoma, my daughter & granddaughter in Boston, and I don't even have a dog anymore, much less a husband. So how'd I answer that question? "A family of chimney swifts :)"

My growing up years were in Bethlehem, PA, and I've been lucky enough to have lived on the Oregon coast, in southern Indiana, in Washington state, and back to southern IN again.

It's a great life, every single day.
